With this accessory, we can machine all the faces of an object or produce round body objects. We will have an additional axis to XYZ and its handling is very simple, because it works with the same numerical control as for the other 3 axes. It is possible to manufacture it with custom sizes. Installed on the table surface (removable): in this case, the work area of the fourth axis is 200 mm. of diameter x 600 mm. in length and the Z axis of the milling machine goes up to 250 mm.
Incorporated in the structure of the milling machine: in this case, the work area of the fourth axis is 500 mm. of diameter x 2000 mm. of length. Being an additional element installed outside the useful surface of the worktable, it does not modify the height of the Z axis of the milling machine, which would remain in 200 mm.
