This biodegradable PLA has incredible qualities, such as its very low thermal contraction, which makes it perfect for printing parts with high resolution and with much better mechanical and thermal properties than a normal PLA, comparable to ABS. Formfutura VOLCANO PLA withstands up to 95ºC, compared to 60ºC for a normal PLA. In addition, its high crystallization speed allows printing at high speed compared to other materials.
All this makes it possible to print highly detailed and complex parts at incredible speed. And not only that, due to its high mechanical properties of impact, flexion and traction, pieces of great resistance can be obtained.
