CNC Barcenas in TCT Birmingham 2017 (26. – 28.10.2017)
2017 is the year in which we have started our exporting activity. Among the various initiatives that we are undertaking we have visited the TCT show in Birmingham (United Kingdom), one of most representative European shows relating additive manufacturing and 3D printing.
We have fulfilled all the objectives, for example to develop contacts for the reselling of the Discovery 3D Printers in Europe, to learn about the latest innovations in software, hardware, materials and products, establishing alliances with leaders in the sector and, how not, to enjoy the proverbial British rain and a great pint after a long and busy day.
Part of the management and technical team of our company has moved to the United Kingdom, each of us with their individual objectives. In the picture – from left to right – you can see Francisco Bárcenas, our founder and CEO, Raul, sales and exports manager, Francisco, leader of the R&D, and Juan Carlos, our young promise in the designers team.
We’ve seen amazing things, such as the first “office friendly” 3D printer that produces metal pieces and prototypes with additive technology, Adidas sneakers made with 3D printing technology (Adidas FUTURECRAFT) or 3D printed tailor made work tools for Volkswagen Autoeuropa production plant.
